Puente de La Zurriola

Puente de la Zurriola
  • Bus

The Puente La Zurriola is the closest to the mouth of the Urumea River. Built in 1921, it originally stood alongside the Gran Kursaal (demolished in 1972). Today the building has been replaced by the Palacio de Congresos Kursaal. The Puente La Zurriola has fantastic lamp posts designed by Víctor Arana in Art Deco style. Its futuristic and expressionist streetlights complete this glamorous pass located between Kursaal Palace, with its two turrets designed by Rafael Moneo that evoke stranded rocks, and the Teatro Victoria Eugenia.
