Zubieta is a neighbourhood that is some 10 km away from the centre of San Sebastián. It is known primarily as the home of the Real Sociedad football team. Most of this neighbourhood belongs to San Sebastián, but a portion of it is part of the town of Usúrbil. In addition to hosting the Real Sociedad training facilities, Zubieta is also home to the Hipódromo de Lasarte, the city’s horse track.
